10 Year Anniversay

Mr. ___, Slimmons and my man.

I am finally making another post. I thought I might as well wait so I can tell you all about our.... Ten Year Anniversary! We went on a date last weekend to Mystery Mansion Diner Theater. The audience is kept pretty small so there is a lot of interaction with the actors, along with the fact the actors are also your servers. The story begins by the idea all of us are attending a doctors convention promoting the drug 'Curinol'. Ted's alias was Dr. Darryl B. Payne, an orthodontist, and I was Dr. Emma Nemz, a nutritionist. As the show progresses you are supposed to try and solve who has commited the murders. It was a blast and my cheeks hurt for hours after from laughing so much. Ted and I weren't picked on too much, but the guy behind us who wasn't participating enough was picked on big time.

Prize for the girl who solved the mystery first. No, it's not what you think.

Yesterday (the official anniversary day), I made Ted a really amazing diner and we had a nice romantic night at home (details are R rated so I can't share much more than that). The one other thing I can tell you is that he had my engagement ring altered to have two more diamonds, one to each side of the original solitaire. It looks gorgeous! I tried to take a picture but I couldn't get it to turn out. I couldn't hold my hand far enough away for the focus to work properly.

I also have to post a picture of my beautiful, non-smiling, Hera on her birthday. She really did have a great day. We took her to the pottery painting store, her favorite place to go. Athena and I made the cake. Besides the melting raspberries and that we had to use tea lights for candles, I think our cake turned out pretty well and tasted awesome.
The girls and I take off on Monday for Vancouver. In another two weeks Ted will join us for the rest of the trip. I can't wait! We'll be back August 19th.

Till next month,
Love Charmaine and Family

San Diego

Kids favorite Sea World ride, 'Atlantis'.

Happy Birthday Canada and America!

This week I am sharing with all of you pictures from San Diego! This is the most beautiful, American city I have ever imagined. Ted had to work for a few days so went along with him for a mini vacation and to take the kids to Sea World. The kids were very inspired that they could possibly work in a place like this one day training animals. Every show we went to we left saying how happy we were we made the effort to see it. Word of warning if you have never been and one day will go, the soak zone means you are going to get soaked, not just wet, soaked. We ended the forth of July with Sea Worlds fire works and a 'Shamu Rocks' show.

Petting sharks on a tour that also included feeding turtles.

While dining with Shamu we watched the trainer and whale interact and practice a few tricks.

Just to show how close you actually get to Shamu while 'Dining with Shamu'.

After a few amazing days we went up to Bear Lake, CA, to hang out with Ted's boss and friend Eiad Abunimeh and his family at their beautiful cabin. We must have been 9,000 feet up (the last sign we noticed said 7,000 with still a long way to go) and very much feeling a little odd.
Along with all the great stuff we had a little bad luck. We worked very hard to get all our green card information in before the end of June because something big was rumored to happen. We did our job but the lawyers didn't send off our application in time. Sure enough, the new Amnesty bill that tried to pass was rejected causing even those of us trying to work legally to have our green card process dropped. We are not sure what is going to happen now. I would much rather have had our application get rejected than lose the green card because of some idiot lawyers who couldn't use the mail.
On the brighter side, Isi's new saying is "all right". I love it! She can also say cool, cute, sis, moon and mine. I am sure there are more but those are the best.
Well, that about covers things for now.
T
Ted insisted I had to add this photo because Isi is just too cute. She is posing with her favorite toy and baby in the world.
